GRS Coaching held to resolve 4Ps concerns
To properly address Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries’ issues and concerns, Municipal Links and Systems Focal, the DSWD – FO1’s 4Ps Regional Project Management Office (RPMO) recently had a Grievance Redress System (GRS) coaching and mentoring in Ilocos Norte.
Mr. Rommel Millora, GRS Focal Person from the National Project Management Office (NPMO) provided technical inputs and held coaching sessions to Municipal Links to enhance their knowledge on the program’s general implementation as well as in providing appropriate resolutions to actual issues on the ground.
Relatively, RPMO team headed by 4Ps Focal Person Venus F. Rebuldela had a meeting with the beneficiaries of Barangays Lydia and Mabuti in the Municipality of Marcos along with Barangays of Pinili both in Ilocos Norte.
Various issues and concerns were captured during the said dialogue which includes issues regarding false information and inclusion error. It was clarified that beneficiaries’ encoded and verified Household Assessment Form (HAF) must be reviewed to prove if one is qualified based on the program’s criteria.
Likewise, the issue on lower entitlement was explained as a result of either households did not update their information or beneficiaries are non compliant with the program’s conditions. It was emphasized that updates in the household’s data and compliance to conditions are the determining factors for the exact amount of cash grants the beneficiaries will be receiving.
On the other hand, Municipal Links from the region were also appreciated as they understand the processes and manages to handle the system’s phasing well.
Region 1 was the third region to be provided technical assistance and coaching sessions next to Region XII and Region VIII. (By: Allan O. Lulu, 4Ps/Information Officer)
